Garcia solos throughout the 77 spring tour, where he's off in outer space on his own...

Another great one; this cm board will be the definitive one unless some patches are found. Beautiful, gold '77.

Only in the context of the previous and following weeks can this show be seen in a negative light :) A low point for the dead in May 77 is still a remarkable performance. There can only be so many great shows in a row...nice work Charlie and definitely worth a listen as there are some great moments here.

Spectacular moments, and many of them, but in a string of spectacular shows this one stands out as not-as-good. Some heavy clunking during Scarlet Fire, and the post-UJB "space" (really a Garcia solo that seems rather aimless) feels more anticlimactic than anything else.
